Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner Christina Sandera’s cause of death confirmed
More details are coming to light just days after Clint Eastwood’s longtime girlfriend Christina Sandera died at the age of 61.
It’s been revealed she died of a heart attack on July 18.
A representative from the Monterey County Health Department confirmed to The Post that Sandera died as the result of a cardiac arrhythmia. Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was listed as a secondary condition that led to the philanthropist’s death.
Eastwood, 94, released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on July 19, one day after the passing of his partner of 10 years.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” he said.
At the time a Warner Bros. spokesperson said no other information would be provided.
According to THR, he pair first met over 10 years ago when Sandera was working as a hostess at the actor’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
They officially started dating in 2014, and though they kept their relationship relatively private Eastwood and Sandera attended several red carpets together, including their first in 2015.
